REM-Fit Mattress Review

All REM-Fit mattresses come with a 100 Night Sleep Trial and a 15-year warranty. There are four different types, each offering something different, and 7 different sizes. The prices are affordable across the board and there is also an option for financing, which is done through DivideBuy.

REM-Fit prices are reasonable, but they become even more reasonable during discount periods. At the time of this review, there is a site-wide discount, with significant reductions on all products. It is not the result of a special holiday or celebration; the discount is merely labelled as a monthly offer and it is such a significant reduction on an insignificant date, that we’d be surprised if it is not a regular thing.

What’s more, waiting just a few minutes on the site will trigger one of those Live Chat popups that everyone hates so much. In this case, however, the popup offers you another discount. For us, it was up to 50% off on combined orders of mattresses and protectors.

The prices quoted on this page are the undiscounted ones, and while they are acceptable for the quality of product on offer, we’d be surprised if you needed to pay that much. Look around on the site, wait for the Live Chat popup, and if that fails, signup to the newsletter. It could save you hundreds.

REM-Fit is an award-winning mattress manufacturer based in London. It sells a selection of mattresses, protectors, and pillows, and has received rave reviews from critics and customers alike.

With REM-Fit’s low prices and regular discounts, you can order a double mattress with a pillow and protector for less than £500, which is incredible when you consider the quality on offer.

REM-Fit mattresses are made using pocket springs that are between 14cm and 16cm, believing them to offer a superior quality of sleep. There is also a Mediflex memory foam layer and a cool-gel infused memory foam layer, which provide complete comfort and support, while also keeping you cool during those hot and sweaty summer nights.

Of the four different mattresses, the REM-Fit 400 Hybrid Zoned is our personal favourite, and the one we believe offers the best value for money. It’s supportive, yet at the same time it provides a feeling of weightlessness; it’s cool, but cosy.

It’s also built to last and REM-Fit has clearly thought about durability. The larger mattresses are designed to last for the bare minimum of 15 years with a combined weight of up to 40 stone, or 20 stone per sleeper. That’s huge, and they’re so confident of this statement that they have a 15-year warranty to back it up.

Of course, experts recommend that you change your mattress every 8 to 10 years, but if that mattress is a REM-Fit, it should last you for a while longer.

The REM-Fit Hybrid uses a Re-Ax Breathable Cover, which is made from a breathable fibre that is soft and silky to the touch. It’s another well-thought-out aspect of this mattress, one that ensures you stay cool and dry throughout the night without sacrificing comfort.

For extra protection, REM-Fit also sells mattress protectors designed to fit all mattresses in the REM-Fit range.

The REM-Fit 400 Hybrid Zoned offers Medium to Firm support and this cannot be changed.  The REM-Fit 500 Hybrid Ortho is firm, with 2,000 roll-together pocket springs that act independently to provide optimum orthopaedic support.

For something a little softer, take a look at the REM-Fit 500 Hybrid Contouring, which is designed with soft sleepers in mind, people who link to “melt” into the mattress. Generally, the purpose of the different mattress types is to provide different levels of support, ensuring there is a mattress for everyone.

The Natural Hybrid is the exception to this rule as it focuses more on natural materials and is medium to firm, just like the 400 Hybrid. The REM-Fit Natural Hybrid offers the same high-quality springs and construction as the other mattresses, but it also uses an ultra-soft mattress cover designed to provide a premium experience, and a 100% cotton pillow top.

REM-Fit offers free Next Day 1-Person delivery on all mattress orders. The mattress will be delivered to your front door and not carried inside.

If you want them to unpack, take it to your bedroom, and get rid of the packaging (always a useful service) you need to select the Premium 2-Person Delivery option on the checkout page. We checked this for a couple of mattresses and were charged £20 each time, but this may be subject to change. It also requires you to book a scheduled delivery date and may take between 5 and 7 working days from the day you order.

If you have an old mattress to remove, you can select the same option with the addition of “Existing Mattress Removal”, which costs £50 altogether.
