The next layer from inside to out is another 1,000 pocket springs that further improve stability. The third layer that surrounds the pocket springs is a layer of coconut fiber. The last two layers include a corn-based polyester that’s soft, and comfortable, and lastly, the final layer is made from 100% recycled polyester fiber. Ethical Bedding calls this layer Repreve Our Ocean.

The mattress cover in all Ethical Bedding mattresses is made out of recycled polyester fibers. The cover itself isn’t removable, however, it can be cleaned with professional upholstery cleaners.

It’s recommended to use Ethical Bedding sheets to cover the mattress, not just to protect the top layer of the mattress, but also to increase the comfort.
